THE SACRAMENT OF
- When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled, they were all in one place together. Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire, which parted and came to rest on each one of them. And they were all filled with the holy Spirit.

  FOR TEENS - 6TH GRADE AND ABOVE | 2024-2025 Academic Year
  
  Confirmation Preparation will take place in Belmont at St. Philomena Catholic Church. Confirmation Preparation for the 2024-2025 Academic Year takes place on Sunday nights during the third full week of the month for immediate preparation for this Sacrament. Confirmation Preparation is for teens, 6th grade and older, who have already participated in at least 1 year of faith formation recently, and who have proven they are ready to receive this sacrament based on their disposition and understanding of the Sacrament of Confirmation.
  
  There is a youth application for any youth wishing to be confirmed. Applications have closed for this year. Please keep watch in Summer 2025 for the application process to open for the 2025-2026 academic year.
  
  The deadline to apply was Oct. 1st, 2024.
  
  Once your teen has applied, been interviewed, and admitted into Confirmation preparation, we will ask for your teen to be registered. Sacramental prep includes additional expectations, resources, and a retreat (fee = $25)
  
  All teens in the Confirmation Preparation program are also expected to regularly attend St. Izzy Ministries.

  Applications have closed for this year (the deadline was October 1st, 2024). Please check back next summer. In the meantime, we encourage you to attend St. Izzy Ministries and pray and grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ this school year. Several retreats are also available for teens.
